Entrances and foot

Start at the entrance on Lyuben Karavelov Street, where the stairs and alleys begin. The trees form a natural arch – a good first shot in soft morning light.

Children’s railway

The narrow-gauge railway runs through the forest with a little bridge, crossing and tunnel. Photograph the train at Pioneer station and along the open tracks.

Rope park and adventure centre

The rope courses and platforms of the adventure centre are visible from the alley. A dynamic scene for action shots – shoot from the side without blocking participants.

Summit and panorama

From the platforms near the summit you see the Ancient Theatre, the Old Town and the Plovdiv hills – the most sought-after shots from the hill.

Sunset from the west slope

The sun sets behind the Rhodopes, visible from the west slope. The golden hour before sunset is the best time for photography – look for open meadows facing west.
