How to get to Youth Hill
The common mistake is to look for one “top” point for everything. Youth Hill has several different entrances and destinations – a pedestrian entrance for climbing, a railway station at the foot, and the adventure centre with the rope park. Here they are separated.
Pedestrian entrance (for climbing)
The pedestrian entrance starts on Lyuben Karavelov Street, where the stairs and alleys to the summit begin. From the square in front of the Ancient Theatre or the Old Town it is a 15–25 minute walk.
Children’s railway station
The “Zname na mira” children’s railway starts at Pioneer station at the foot of the hill – a separate navigation point from the pedestrian entrance. From there the train passes a bridge and tunnel to Panorama station.
Adventure centre (rope park)
The Youth Hill Adventure Centre with the rope park is in the lower part of the park, near the foot. Check its hours and bookings on its official site before visiting.
Public transport
The “Youth Hill” stop on Lyuben Karavelov Street is served by city bus lines (check current numbers and timetables on the Plovdiv Public Transport site, as they can change).
By car and navigation
