Youth Hill

Youth Hill with kids

Youth Hill is one of the most family-friendly places in Plovdiv. Here is how to plan the day by the children’s age – from a short railway ride to longer outdoor play.

Babies and toddlers

For the youngest, start at the foot: the children’s railway is a calm ~25-minute experience. The lower alleys and meadows are flatter and pram-friendly.

Young children (3–6)

The playgrounds and play meadows are favourites. The rope park has courses for this age too when the centre’s conditions are met.

School age

Older children enjoy the rope park and the climb to the summit. Do it in stages with rests and water, especially in summer.

Useful tips

Bring water, hats and light snacks. After activity plan lunch or coffee – see the restaurants and Central Park near the hill pages.
